Basics Of Eye Makeup

Beauty has been glorified typically in female forms. Beauty in the face of goddesses like Aphrodite or Venus, Freya and Lakshimi. Many women are bewildered by eye makeup. Eye shadows leave a shiny or muddy finish depending on the time of make up and shape of eyes.

Eye makeup can become a woman’s ticket to gapes of appreciation as long as it is applied carefully and removed before bed every time. Eyes are very sensitive and need to be taken care of as much as possible. Eye Shadows come in a jumble of forms like pressed powders, pencils, sticks, gels or creams. Pressed powders are the most famous form of shadows.

Eye liner is used to make the eyes more observable and create an illusion of thicker lashes. Eye lining is finished with a black or brown eye liner on the top lid of each eye and sporadically under the lower lashes. Eye liner is available in liquids or pencil form. It should not go into the eyes. Liquid liners can be water or alcohol based. Alcohol based liners are water proof.

Mainly it is best to choose a color that is close to your natural shade of lashes. Light coats are improved than thick ones.

There are 3 distinct types of Mascara - water based, water proof and the mixed variety. Mixed variety is the the most useful one. Water based mascaras can be used quickly and removed easily. So they are smooth to the lashes and eyes. Use mascara by looking through into the mirror, with your chin raised slightly so you can see your lashes fairly. Cream eye shadows are excellent for this look — light to medium tones work best. Use a cream or powder shadow on your eyelids in colors that reconcile with your complexion, eye color, and robe. Soft, muffled tones for daytime wear or smoky hues at night can bring the insensitive eyes to life.

Apply a thin layer of foundation or primer on the eyelids to rectify imperfections and create the perfect canvas for the application of color. Blondes look good in creams and taupes, while mochas and chocolate browns flatter brunettes. Gray hair is ravishing with grays, soft purples, and blues. Use tweezers to pluck unwished hair from around your natural brow line. You can use a hair removal pen in place of tweezers for the tiny hairs that appear below or above your eyebrows, as well as the extra hair that grows between them that can develop a unibrow effect if left unchecked.
