Minerals and supplements can make a tremendous impact on eye health. Minerals help the body metabolize vitamins. They also help the body balance nutrition and hormones. Zinc and Selenium can help prevent many diseases including those that affect the eyes. Zinc can be found in red meat, oysters and wheat. Lutein is plentiful in spinach and collard greens. Bioflavonoids are found vitamin C rich foods. Carotenoids also convert substances from these foods into vitamin A that provides antioxidant protection. Omega-3 fatty acids such are found in seafood’s are also excellent for eye health, and they are rich in antioxidants.
Wear a hat with a brim and choose sunglasses that provide at least 98 per cent protection from UV. There are many diseases, disorders, and age-related changes that may affect the eyes and surrounding structures. Certain diseases such as dry eyes, eye twitches, astigmatism, dark circles and puffy eyes might be causes by many factors such as obesity, diabetics, exposure to ultraviolet light, smoking, certain medications such as steroids, and many other factors. Wear eye protection. When playing sports or working with power tools, use safety glasses or goggles.

Beauty has been glorified typically in female forms. Beauty in the face of goddesses like Aphrodite or Venus, Freya and Lakshimi. Many women are bewildered by eye makeup. Eye shadows leave a shiny or muddy finish depending on the time of make up and shape of eyes.
Eye makeup can become a woman’s ticket to gapes of appreciation as long as it is applied carefully and removed before bed every time. Eyes are very sensitive and need to be taken care of as much as possible. Eye Shadows come in a jumble of forms like pressed powders, pencils, sticks, gels or creams. Pressed powders are the most famous form of shadows.
Eye liner is used to make the eyes more observable and create an illusion of thicker lashes. Eye lining is finished with a black or brown eye liner on the top lid of each eye and sporadically under the lower lashes. Eye liner is available in liquids or pencil form. It should not go into the eyes. Liquid liners can be water or alcohol based. Alcohol based liners are water proof.

Cream eye shadows are excellent for this look — light to medium tones work best. Use a cream or powder shadow on your eyelids in colors that reconcile with your complexion, eye color, and robe. Soft, muffled tones for daytime wear or smoky hues at night can bring the insensitive eyes to life.
Apply a thin layer of foundation or primer on the eyelids to rectify imperfections and create the perfect canvas for the application of color. Blondes look good in creams and taupes, while mochas and chocolate browns flatter brunettes. Gray hair is ravishing with grays, soft purples, and blues. Use tweezers to pluck unwished hair from around your natural brow line. You can use a hair removal pen in place of tweezers for the tiny hairs that appear below or above your eyebrows, as well as the extra hair that grows between them that can develop a unibrow effect if left unchecked.

Eye lining is a makeup that is used to better define the eyes. Eyes are not just a part of face but they are very important attribute as well.
Eyeliner can make even the littlest eyes seem larger. The eyeliner is there to assist you out in this affection. A thin line of Eyeliner could give a new definition to your eyes.
Putting on any makeup that is specified to smudge in less than an hour or two is not a good idea. Pencil practiced along the rim of the eye normally causes the area to become irritated; after all you are putting a foreign element next to the mucous membrane of your eye.
How to Apply Eyeliner
- Always draw with a newly sharpened eyeliner pencil, shades the contour of your eye.
- Keep in mind that eyeliner can be friend or foe - void “closing” in the eye and making it look even smaller, by only applying a fine line when outlining the entire eye.
- Application of eye liner needs to be as close to your lashes as possible, hence the need for a sharp pencil.Use a very fine line when using eyeliner (liquid or pencil), and keep the liner even on both top and bottom.
- Apply eyeshadow to lower lashes.
- Using your eyeshadow brush, apply the schemed-hued eyeshadow along the base lashes, from the outside in.
- Clean up any mistakes with a cotton swab.
